The Wrath of the Lamb – Issues of Divine Love

Issues of Divine Love

REV 6: 15-16  And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, (16)  AND SAID TO THE MOUNTAINS AND ROCKS, “Fall on us and HIDE US FROM THE FACE OF HIM who sits on the throne and from THE WRATH OF THE LAMB! (17)  “For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”Wrath of the Lamb

This is the great Day of the Lord, God is ramping up His works, the activity of His Spirit out of the heavens : The very works of God in the Life of those who have been apprehended by Him.

The text before us when approached from eschatological point of view seems to imply the demonstration of the beastly rage of an angry God who is bent on unleashing vengeance on His creation.  But that is not our Father, but rather what is before us   is the “Orge” (GRK) The Reaching Forth Violently – Passionately. God will be demonstrating in us His Desire to lay hold of His Treasure Possession: MAN, His final resting PLACE. The Down Payment for our ultimate possession was paid with the intention to fully reside Ephesians 1:13-14 , 2nd Corinthians 5:5 Mark 12:1-2– These are the Days HE IS VIOLENTLY TAKING HOLD, and the best way John could describe it based on what he was interacting with, was to SAY THE WRATH OF THE LAMB and NOT LION.

To clear the way for His Ultimate invasion, our heavens will shake, STARS will fall and the Mountains: things which have held dominant views in our existence especially our false religious views will be moved out of the way for a new expression of Christ . So rather than hide from the face of Him who sits on the throne, we must engage Him Face to Face, without hiding any aspect of our personality. The Kings and Captains of our reasoning, the governors of our identity aside from Christ will always want to HIDE.

Dearly beloved brethren, I do not hesitate to tell you that it is Adam who wants to hide from the face of Him that sits upon the throne, because he doesn’t ’know God!  Because of sin, because of walking after the flesh, it was in the swirling mists of that long ago Eden that Adam in fear first slinked away among the shadows to hide himself from the presence of the Lord amongst the trees of the Garden.   Adam is the only man who hides from the presence of the Lord!

This is the time we have to find out who we truly are, not what people see and know us to be, but how the LORD sees us …..
